Not in black and white but I think they’re definitely eerie so I reckon they fit this weeks photo challenge!
These were taken at a local cemetery a few years ago… apparently the webs were created by a little caterpillar called ermine yponomeuta moths, which are common in Britain. It was a pretty amazing sight!

Here you can see the contrast of the white webbed trees against the untouched green tree branch in the foreground!
If you zoom in to the part of the web that’s hanging away from the tree you can see the caterpillars!

They are aren’t they? I’ve seen a picture of a car completely covered in them and their webs… imagine going out in the morning to work and being confronted with your car like that… it would be a great ‘sorry I’m late but…’ excuse! 😀

Wow, that’s crazy, and creepy (eerie too of course)! I’m not a see a bug and squeal sort of girl but the thought of the caterpillars slowly covering everything in their webs does seriously give me the willies!
