Mutleys’ pic(s) of the day!

My Son was enjoying some of his leftover pizza for lunch, so Mutley assumed the position…

Oooh that looks sooo good...

... hot dog stuffed crust!? You're killing me here!

The last piece of the last slice... must concentrate all efforts into looking as cute & adorable puppy as possible!

I think Mutley did a pretty good job of resisting… she was rewarded with a small piece of hot dog!

My son taught me how wonderful German shepherd dogs are. Mutley certainly deserves her own page. I’ve already become a fan of hers. And I like yr. pictures too…!!! Magnificent dog, great shots.

Mrs P just remarked on how cute Mutley is, and how she’d give her all her food. Just as well we don’t have Mutley, nothing would make it onto the blog.

What a wonderful and well behaved dog. I thought the same thing. If she stared at it long enough, perhaps it would move closer to her mouth. 🙂

Haha I know, she was concentrating on it so hard I wouldn’t have been surprised if it had started floating towards her… the power of positive intention! Well, she got a bit of hot dog in the end, so I guess it worked! 😀

Hello, thank you for the kind comments and yes our dogs do make wildlife photography that bit more challenging. I loved your pizza sequence. Our labrador Willow shamed himself completely, a few years ago, when he ate our son’s 18th birthday cake including the candles and the candle holders. Never leave a labrador alone with food.

You have a beautiful dog. He must be very well trained to resist that pizza 🙂 Annie

Yes she gives the impression of being well trained when there are witnesses but if we’d left the room I have a feeling that pizza would have mysteriously disappeared! Thanks for stopping by 🙂

I grew up with a bunch of German Shepherds in norway, it’s so good to take part in the life of Mutley. Great blog! 🙂

Quotes that speak to my soul…

"Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving.
What you have caught on film is captured forever...
it remembers little things,
long after you have forgotten everything." - Aaron Siskind

"You become things, you become an atmosphere, and if you become it, which means you incorporate it within you, you can also give it back. You can put this feeling into a picture. A painter can do it. And a musician can do it and I think a photographer can do that too and that I would call the dreaming with open eyes." - Ernst Haas

"Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by Dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most importantly, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary."
- Steve Jobs

“To photograph is to hold one's breath, when all faculties converge to capture fleeting reality. It's at that precise moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy.”
- Henri Cartier-Bresson

“For me, the camera is a sketch book, an instrument of intuition and spontaneity.”
― Henri Cartier-Bresson

“Above all, life for a photographer cannot be a matter of indifference”
― Robert Frank
